Job summary

Lindenwood University invites applications for an Instructor/Assistant Professor of Nursing in the College of Science, Technology, and Health. The successful candidate will teach 15 credit hours per semester in nursing and contribute to advising, scholarship, and campus life.

The position requires a master's degree in nursing with a specialization in nursing education; an unencumbered RN license in Missouri or a compact state is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing required; specialization in nursing education preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license in Missouri or a compact state, otherwise eligible to obtain in a non-compact state.
• Preference given to candidates with nursing education/teaching experience at undergraduate level (BSN experience preferred).

Responsibilities

• Teach 15 credit hours each semester in nursing; duties include didactic, lab/simulation, or clinical teaching as assigned.
• Advise and mentor students; participate in faculty governance and campus life.
• Engage in scholarship, professional development, and service to support the university mission.
