Job summary

The College of Science, Technology, and Health at Lindenwood University invites applications for an Instructor/Assistant Professor of Nursing. Qualified applicants will possess at minimum a master's degree in nursing with specialization in nursing education.

The successful candidate will teach 15 credit hours each semester in nursing, advise and mentor students, continue to develop their expertise through research and scholarship, and participate in faculty governance and campus life.

Qualifications

• Graduate nursing degree with nursing education specialization.
• Unencumbered RN license in Missouri or compact state.
• Preferred nursing education/teaching experience at undergraduate level.
• Rank depends on qualifications; terminal degree required for Assistant Professor.

Responsibilities

• Teach nursing courses and advise/mentor students.
• Engage in scholarly activity and service to the university.
• Contribute to faculty governance and campus life.
