Job summary

Sullivan University in Lexington is seeking a full-time Nursing faculty member to join our student-centered teaching team. The role focuses on instruction and assessment of student learning across face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats, with expectations for professional development and scholarly activity.

Faculty contribute to the university's mission by guiding students toward successful program completion.

Qualifications

• MSN degree is required for the faculty role.
• A minimum of two years' experience as a registered nurse.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Knowledgeable with active teaching methods and use of teaching technologies including AI.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Instruction and assessment of student learning in face-to-face, online, or hybrid environments.
• Engage students using collaborative and experiential learning techniques.
• Develop and revise course materials and maps under leadership guidance.
• supervise and evaluate students in clinical, externship, or field settings as appropriate.
• Participate in program governance, professional development, and scholarly activities.
