Job summary

Sullivan University in Louisville is seeking a full-time Nursing faculty member to join our Louisville Campus. Faculty are teaching staff reporting to the Dean and will instruct and assess students in face-to-face, online, and hybrid learning environments.

Requirements include MSN and a minimum of two years' RN experience, with excellent writing and oral communication. Evening/weekend clinical teaching may be required; generous benefits and professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• MSN required.
• Two years' experience as a registered nurse.
• Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Instruction and Assessment of Student Learning in face-to-face, online, and/or hybrid environments; facilitate learning and evaluate student work.
• Engage students using collaborative, experiential, and problem-based learning approaches.
• Deliver course curriculum per Dean/Program Director directions using the university LMS.
• Participate in course and program assessments and updates to master courses.
• Supervise, debrief, and evaluate students in clinical/externship settings as appropriate.
• Participate in student retention efforts and academic support services.
• Maintain professional development and stay current in teaching technologies including AI.
