Job summary

The Nursing Professional Development Specialist at Lee Health in Fort Myers, FL, leads learning initiatives to foster clinical excellence in assigned units within the Operating Room. You will design, implement, and evaluate training programs and competency validation for direct care staff.

BSN is required; Florida RN licensure and BLS are needed, with MSN and NPD-CNE preferred. Three years of clinical nursing and education experience is expected, with strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Florida RN licensure current.
• BLS certification required for first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate development of clinical excellence in assigned areas.

Education
