Job summary

The Technical College of the Lowcountry seeks a Nursing Instructor to deliver hands-on clinicals and theory, manage classroom activities, and handle administrative tasks such as reports and lesson plans in Beaufort, SC.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree in Nursing with RN licensure or a Nursing Diploma with LPN licensure, plus 1+ year in long-term care, current CPR, and an active SC license. You will supervise students in clinical settings and collaborate with other college departments.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Nursing with RN license or Diploma in Nursing with LPN license.
1+ year of experience in long-term care caring for the elderly or chronically ill.
Active, unencumbered SC RN or LPN license.
Current American Heart Association Provider CPR (Adult and Child).
Must meet all requirements for clinical participation per clinical facility.
Two years of experience in the discipline also required.

Responsibilities

Instruct nursing courses with hands-on clinicals and theory.
Prepare and maintain current syllabi and ensure alignment with course syllabus.
Assess student progress and maintain attendance/grades records.
Direct supervision of students in clinical settings.
Collaborate with Tutoring, Retention and other college areas to support student success.
Attend relevant professional meetings and participate in faculty development.
