Job summary

HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur, IL seeks an experienced Nursing Leader to oversee administration of the Nursing Department. The role focuses on patient care quality, staff development, and operational leadership across shifts in Illinois and Wisconsin facilities.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, an active RN license in the state, BLS certification, and at least 5 years of nursing experience with 3 years in a leadership role. Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required; Master’s preferred.
• RN licensure in state of practice required; multi-state license acceptable per compact.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience and 3 years leadership experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
