Job summary

Fiesta Park Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a Director of Nursing (RN) in Albuquerque, NM. The DON will manage Nursing Services 24/7 to meet residents’ needs and regulatory standards, leading a star-rated facility with a focus on quality care.

Responsibilities include coordinating total care plans, supervising nursing staff, and participating in admissions and management discussions to ensure regulatory compliance and exceptional resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state of practice.
• Bachelor or Associate degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum five years in long-term or acute health care; at least two years in nursing supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plans for total care of each resident in line with physician orders and facility policies.
• Communicate policies to nursing staff and monitor adherence.
• Participate in admissions decisions and daily management team meetings.
• Oversee 24-hour supervision of nursing services and maintain quality standards of care.
