Job summary
Central Florida Communities, Inc. (CFC) seeks an experienced Nursing Supervisor for Howell Branch Court in Winter Park, FL. The role oversees nursing staff across ICF and Group Homes, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance, with 24/7 on-call responsibilities.
The ideal candidate holds a Florida RN license, has at least two years of supervisory experience, and preferably experience with IDD populations. Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
Qualifications
- Florida RN license required.
- Minimum two years supervisory experience.
- Experience with ICF/IDD populations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervises, directs and evaluates nursing staff and activities for residents in the ICF and Group Homes.
- Oversees nursing operations including pharmacy, infection control, and medication/order changes; handles admissions and follow-up.
- Conducts resident assessments and staff education on care needs.
- Coordinates medical services with health care providers to ensure resident health.
- Conducts rounds and site visits to ensure regulatory compliance and care quality; participates in corrective action plans.
- Maintains 24-hour on-call availability and on-call rotation with RN staff.
