Job summary

A senior living/skilled nursing community in Jefferson City, MO is looking for a Director of Nursing (DON) to join as a full-time leader. The DON will direct Nursing Services, participate in admissions decisions, and lead management discussions on census, resident status, and care quality.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with occasional nights and weekends for coverage. Pay ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually and includes full benefits based on experience.

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the overall operations of the Nursing Services department, as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current state and federal laws and regulations.
• Participate in all admission decisions.
• Participate in daily or weekly management team meetings to discuss census changes, resident changes in status, complaints, or concerns.
• Oversee the nursing department in the coordination of care, quality of interventions and outcomes, and financial management of clinical services.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home, or other related healthcare facility.
• CPR certification required.
