Job summary

CADES is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead nursing services for individuals with disabilities in a Learning Center setting in Springfield, PA. The role focuses on person-centered care, regulatory compliance, and team leadership to promote independence and wellbeing among residents.

The Director oversees clinical staff, ensures adherence to applicable regulations, and collaborates with CNO and healthcare partners to develop effective care strategies while maintaining high-quality nursing care

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania required.
• Minimum 3 years in healthcare operations with increasing management responsibilities.
• Minimum 3 years supervising licensed nurses in recruitment, leadership, coaching, and discipline.
• 2 years clinical experience with individuals with multiple disabilities.
• Thorough knowledge of PA Chapter 6400 regulations.
• Knowledge of HRST processes and requirements.
• Strong medication administration, documentation, and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all assigned nurses, including recruitment, leadership, coaching, training, and performance management.
• Supervise Clinical Education and Compliance Nurse.
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans and oversee quality care for residents.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate documentation per PA/state/federal standards.
• Coordinate communication between staff, medical providers, families, and regulators.
• Lead meetings on KPIs and quality metrics.
• Review hospital discharge reports and ensure follow-up actions.
