Presbyterian Homes & Services - HallMar Village in Cedar Rapids, IA, seeks a Director of Nursing / Clinical Administrator to lead the clinical operations of a 60-bed long term care community. The role reports to the Care Center Administrator and supervises clinical staff, with a $5,000 hiring bonus.

Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing nursing care, ensuring quality resident outcomes, maintaining medical records, and growing the clinical team.

Qualifications

• RN license in Iowa required.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated competencies in healthcare management and operations.
• Gerontological nursing knowledge and restorative practices.
• Compatibility with PHS mission and operating philosophies.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, evaluate and direct the clinical staff and program to ensure high quality resident care.
• Lead site leadership team to meet short and long-term operational goals.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with customers.
• Oversee nursing care processes: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Monitor clinical components of medical records for completeness and accuracy.
• Lead and develop the clinical team.
