Job summary

Messiah Lifeways is seeking dedicated PRN CNAs to join our team in South Central PA. CNAs provide compassionate, hands-on care including personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition and comfort, aligned with individualized care plans.

Roles are available on Day 7:00 AM–3:00 PM and Night 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shifts. Min 32 hours per month with 16 weekend hours; CNA certification, HS diploma, and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• One year of long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with technology: MS Office, EHR.
• Ability to stay organized and accurate in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals, nourishment, and feeding.
• Support mobility needs, including transfers with mechanical or staff assistance.
• Escort or transport residents to activities, appointments, therapy, and other destinations.
• Observe and document resident conditions, behaviors, and appetite; report changes to nursing staff.
• Use and maintain equipment and supplies responsibly and cost-effectively.

Job description

The Nursing Team at Messiah Lifeways is seeking dedicated PRN Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team.

Our PRN CNA team members must commit to a minimum of 32 hours per month with 16 of those hours being worked on weekends - during their assigned shift. Outside of the minimum requirement, PRN CNAs can pick up additional hours on other shifts (if available).

Available PRN Schedules

• Day Shift
  • 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Night Shift
  • 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
