Job summary

Messiah Lifeways in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Weekend Baylor Program. This role offers a consistent weekend schedule while maintaining full-time status.

You will assist residents with meals, mobility, hygiene, and daily living, document observations, and collaborate with the nursing team. Weekend shifts are 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying candidates.

Qualifications

• CNA Certification (required)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• One year of long-term care experience (preferred, not required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort with technology: Microsoft Office, POC, Electronic Health Records

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals, nourishment, and feeding
• Support mobility needs, including transfers with mechanical or staff assistance
• Escort or transport residents to activities, appointments, therapy, and other destinations
• Observe and document resident conditions, behaviors, and appetite; report changes to nursing staff
• Use and maintain equipment and supplies responsibly and cost-effectively

The Nursing Team at Messiah Lifeways is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Weekend Baylor Program. This role is ideal for CNAs who prefer a consistent weekend-only schedule while still receiving full-time status.

Schedule:

• Every weekend
• 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM
