Job summary

The Addison of Sandy Springs, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate resident care in a warm Assisted Living setting in Peachtree Corners, GA. This role supports dressing, grooming, dining, and mobility with a resident-first approach.

We require a Georgia-licensed CNA and a high school diploma or GED. Our team benefits from flexible scheduling, training, PTO from day one, and access to health insurance, 401k, and EAP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Georgia CNA license (Certified Nursing Assistant) required

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in accordance with resident care standards; assists with dressing, grooming, bathing, and escorts/transfers
• Assists residents with nutritional needs, including dining table setup, serving meals, ensuring fluid needs, and substitutions as needed
• Reminds residents to take medications and assists with opening containers/packages
• Recognizes changes in residents' behavior or condition and reports to the Assisted Living Director

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities Include

• Performs duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care. Duties include assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, and escorts and transfers
• Assists residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing proper fluid requirements, and offering substitutions when appropriate
• Reminding residents to take medication and opening containers and packages for residents
• Recognizes changes in the residents' behavior and conditions and reports those changes to the Assisted Living Director
