Job summary

The Sharon at SouthPark in Charlotte, NC is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality care to residents in a warm, onsite setting.

As a CNA, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and collaborate with nurses to ensure comfort, dignity, and safety. We offer training, supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (or eligibility to obtain certification according to state requirements).
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and personal care needs.
• Basic knowledge of healthcare and resident care practices.
• Previous senior living, long-term care, rehabilitation, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Support residents during meals and encourage independence whenever possible
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Observe and communicate changes in resident condition to the nursing team
• Document care accurately and timely
• Assist with transfers and mobility using appropriate equipment and safety practices
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional resident care
