Job summary

Oklahoma City Community College seeks a Nursing Clinical/Lab Instructor to provide clinical and lab instruction on campus or at off-site facilities. You will teach in clinical or lab settings, plan, teach, and grade assignments; collaborate with nursing program and division.

The role requires an active Oklahoma RN license, a Baccalaureate in nursing, and at least two years full-time equivalent RN clinical experience; includes safety-sensitive position with pre-employment and random drug testing.

General Description

The Nursing Clinical/Lab Instructor has the authority and responsibility to provide clinical and lab instruction on campus or on off site medical facilities. in compliance with the general policies of the nursing program and Oklahoma City Community College. Responsibilities include attending an orientation and adjunct meetings each semester. This position includes teaching in clinical or lab settings and includes planning, teaching, and grading assignments. Planning and grading may occur outside the lab or clinical experience. The position will also assist with maintaining positive relationships at all levels within the Division of Health Professions.
This position is a safety sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing.

1. GENERAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Medium work: This position requires the person to occasionally exert up to 50 pounds of force and frequently exert up to 20 pounds of force and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to grasp, lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
