Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing is seeking a highly organized Clinical Coordinator to oversee the scheduling and operational logistics of our clinical program at the Tempe campus. You will coordinate complex schedules, manage compliance requirements, and support faculty and students while building strong relationships with clinical partners.

You will help maintain CRM and internal records, monitor day-to-day operations, and prepare reports that evaluate program effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in scheduling, coordination, logistics, or other detail-intensive operations roles.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet established metrics, deadlines and campus goals.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and distribute accurate and timely clinical schedules for students.
  • Review course calendars and event timelines proactively to identify and prevent scheduling conflicts.
  • Ensure students are assigned to clinical experiences that align with curriculum requirements.
  • Coordinate clinical make-up experiences and arrange preceptor assignments as needed.
  • Monitor schedules for gaps or potential risks early and elevate issues promptly.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of clinical placements, site requirements, and student assignments.
  • Facilitate new instructor onboarding to ensure understanding of assigned clinical sites, units, and site-specific requirements.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and site-specific compliance requirements are met for each student and clinical placement.
  • Track, organize, and maintain clinical agreements, site documentation, and partnership records.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within the College’s CRM and internal systems.
  • Support audit readiness by keeping all required documents current, complete and well-organized.
  • Monitor day-to-day operational needs to support smooth delivery of clinical experiences.
  • Prepare reports that evaluate clinical program effectiveness and highlight scheduling trends.
  • Participate in clinical coordination forums, summits, and internal meetings to support collaboration and alignment.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain positive, professional relationships with existing clinical partners.
  • Communicate schedules, requirements, and key updates to partner sites in a timely manner.
  • Escalate partner feedback or concerns to the Dean as appropriate and support Clinical leadership in coordinating timely, effective responses.
  • Coordinate with the Clinical Development team to strengthen partner engagement and support strategic forecasting of student clinical placement needs.
  • Represent the College at select events to support partner relations and program visibility.

What You'll Do:

The Clinical Coordinator supports the seamless, accurate, and timely execution of all clinical scheduling and operational logistics at the campus level. This role is responsible for organizing complex information, and maintaining structured processes and fostering professional, collaborative interactions with clinical partners, faculty, and students.

Essential responsibilities:

Clinical Scheduling & Logistics

  • Develop, manage, and distribute accurate and timely clinical schedules for students.
  • Review course calendars and event timelines proactively to identify and prevent scheduling conflicts.
  • Ensure students are assigned to clinical experiences that align with curriculum requirements.
  • Coordinate clinical make-up experiences and arrange preceptor assignments as needed.

Compliance & Documentation Management
