Seminole State College of Florida is seeking a full-time, temporary Faculty Instructor to provide hands-on clinical supervision and support to nursing students in clinical sites and labs. The role emphasizes guiding students through practical training and ensuring a high-quality clinical learning experience.

The position requires regular travel to clinical sites, coordinating student experiences, and delivering feedback to students on performance.

Qualifications

Master’s in nursing from a regionally accredited institution.
Minimum of two years of nursing experience in an acute care facility.
Licensure to practice Nursing as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or eligibility for Florida RN Licensure.
Current CPR certification.
Demonstrated understanding of the learning centered approach to teaching.
Computer and Internet skills.

Responsibilities

Provides clinical supervision and coordinates student clinical activities and evaluations.
Participates in skill lab demonstrations, practice, and testing of students.
Assists students through observational and participative experiences applying nursing theory and techniques.
Coordinates student clinical experiences with facility nursing staff.
Maintains professional relationships with community and clinical sites; updates policies and procedures trainings.
