Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of general experience
• Experience or education or training: NA work
• English language proficiency per VA standards
• KSAs demonstrated for nursing assistant roles
• Preferred experience: 3 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Provides care in the Community Living Center (CLC), Domiciliary (DOM), and Blind Rehabilitation units
• Assists with activities of daily living and general nursing duties
• Mentors other NAs in personal hygiene, rest, and eating
• Performs vital signs, EKGs, weight, height, intake and output
• Prepares patients for tests, examinations, and procedures
• Maintains privacy and safety of patients and staff
