This is for full-time and part-time nursing assistant roles on multiple units at Royal Oak, ranging from Med Surg to ICU patient acuities.

Please note: The Nursing Assistant role is hands-on, fast-paced, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills across all departments.

Responsibilities include:

1. Taking vitals
2. Checking blood sugars
3. Wound care
4. Bed bathing
5. Toileting
6. Ambulating
7. Catheterization
8. Acting as safety attendant as needed

Scope of Work

Provides patient care according to the care plan, unit routine, and hospital policies under RN supervision. Includes safe transport, dispatch services, documentation, and providing observation services for patients requiring constant monitoring, either in person or via remote video. Also handles clerical duties and documentation in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous hospital or nursing home experience (preferred)
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support certification (required)
• Current CNA certification (preferred)
