North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Unit Coordinator/Monitor Tech for the Acute Nursing unit. The role encompasses medical record upkeep, patient care, clerical duties, and cross-functional communication within the nursing team.

The incumbent will interpret rhythms from monitoring devices, report findings to the RN/CN, and support admissions, discharges, and transfers to maintain timely patient care and a safe environment.

Responsabilités

• Coordination of nursing unit activities and admissions/discharges/transfers using EMR and monitoring system.
• Clerical duties including handling intake/outbound documents and patient communications.
• Assisting with routine patient care under RN supervision, including activities of daily living.
• Assist with unit budgeting, inventory, and supply replenishment.
• Facilitate communication among patients, visitors, staff, and physicians within the unit.
• Provide friendly, professional service to patients and visitors and ensure a safe, clean environment.
• Maintain unit records, logs, staff rosters, and monitor assignments.
