Job Responsibilities

The Nursing Assistant Trainee participates in a structured learning program to develop skills for providing personal care under supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting care, communicating client status, and supporting clients' physical, emotional, and social needs. Trainees work within infection control standards, follow instructions, and demonstrate critical thinking and prioritization skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Minimum age of 16
• Previous clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred
• State registration as applicable
• Must be medically qualified to perform driving duties if applicable

Additional Information

This role involves working every other weekend and holiday rotation. The training program includes online and hands-on components, preparing trainees for certification exams.
