Cottonwood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Durango, CO is seeking Nursing Assistant Trainee to join our team ahead of the Nurse Aide Training Program starting October 5. This role helps residents with daily living activities and supports the nursing team in delivering compassionate care.

The six-week program includes lectures on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by required skills training and clinicals to prepare for CNA certification.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or willingness to complete the Nurse Aide Training Program.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable, compassionate, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living

The Next Class Begins October 5!

Lecture Schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays

9:00 AM–12:00 PM

The six-week lecture portion of the program will run from October 5 through November 10.

Students will also complete required skills training and clinical requirements as part of the Nurse Aide Training Program.

Completion of the training program will prepare students to take the State Certification Test and pursue CNA certification.
