Class Begins: October 5
Lecture Schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays
9:00 AM–12:00 PM
The six-week lecture portion of the program will run from October 5 through November 10.
Students will also complete required skills training and clinical experience as part of the Nurse Aide Training Program.
For River Valley participants:
October 7: Skills Training at River Valley RHC from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
October 8: Skills Training from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
November 11: Skills Check-Offs at River Valley RHC from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Completion of the Nurse Aide Training Program will prepare students to take the State Certification Test.
Interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant
CNA certification in Colorado or a compact state or willingness to complete the CNA training program
CPR certification preferred
Long-term care experience preferred but not required
Must be dependable, compassionate, and ready to learn!
Assist residents with activities of daily living
Support CNAs and the nursing team with resident care
Follow facility policies and procedures
Follow all applicable state and federal guidelines
Provide compassionate and respectful care to residents
