Job summary

River Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center LLC in Colorado is hiring Nursing Assistant Trainees to join our team and prepare for the upcoming Nurse Aide Training Program, starting October 5.

The six-week program includes lectures Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with skills training sessions on Oct 7, Oct 8, and Nov 11 at River Valley RHC. Completion leads to the State Certification Test and CNA eligibility.

Qualifications

• Interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant
• CNA certification in Colorado or a compact state or willingness to complete the CNA training program
• CPR certification preferred
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required
• Must be dependable, compassionate, and ready to learn!

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living
• Support CNAs and the nursing team with resident care
• Follow facility policies and procedures
• Follow all applicable state and federal guidelines
• Provide compassionate and respectful care to residents

About the Upcoming Nurse Aide Training Class

Class Begins: October 5

Lecture Schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays
9:00 AM–12:00 PM

The six-week lecture portion of the program will run from October 5 through November 10.

Students will also complete required skills training and clinical experience as part of the Nurse Aide Training Program.

For River Valley participants:

• October 7: Skills Training at River Valley RHC from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

• October 8: Skills Training from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM

• November 11: Skills Check-Offs at River Valley RHC from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

Completion of the Nurse Aide Training Program will prepare students to take the State Certification Test.
