Job summary

Cottonwood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Colorado is seeking Nursing Assistant Trainees for our Nurse Aide Training Program. The six-week program begins October 5 and runs through November 10, with lectures on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Trainers will complete required skills training and clinical requirements to prepare for the State Certification Test and CNA licensure, with pay increases once certified. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• CNA certification or willingness to complete Nurse Aide Training Program.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and interested in starting a career in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Provide compassionate and respectful care.
• Follow state and federal guidelines.
• Follow facility policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the nursing team.

Students will also complete required skills training and clinical requirements as part of the Nurse Aide Training Program. Completion of the training program will prepare students to take the State Certification Test and pursue CNA certification.

Once certified, pay increases!
