The Technical Partner provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of the RN or LPN.

Essential Job Functions

1. Deliver patient care in accordance with hospital policies and standards.
2. Assist patients with activities of daily living and respond to their needs promptly.
3. Collect and report patient care data, including vital signs and intake/output.
4. Transport patients and obtain necessary equipment.
5. Perform skills such as blood glucose testing, applying telemetry leads, ostomy care, and others as listed.
6. Make rounds, assist in education, and coordinate with healthcare team members.
7. Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain compliance with regulations.
8. Act as a patient advocate and serve as a preceptor to new staff or students.
9. Maintain supplies, ensure safety, and respond to emergencies appropriately.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Nurse Aide or comparable program, or related experience.
• Good judgment, communication skills, and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Nurse Aide certification.
• Patient care experience, computer skills, EKG, Phlebotomy experience.
• Current nursing student with clinical experience.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current BLS (CPR and AED) certification.
• Act 33, 34, and 73 FBI Clearances with renewal.

Additional Information

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but involves mentoring and coaching roles. Work hours may vary, including rotating shifts and travel between locations. The role requires adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. Physical demands include lifting, standing, and other activities as detailed.
