The VA Western New York Healthcare System in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Nursing Assistant learning to perform basic nursing duties under close supervision in outpatient, inpatient, home or Community Living Center environments. Applicants pending completion of requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but not hired until all requirements are met.
Candidates must meet basic federal requirements and KSAs for GS-3 to GS-5 levels.
Qualifications
- Six months of general experience or equivalent education/ training.
- Education above high school with NA-related courses or a short NA program.
- Basic KSAs in patient care, observation, and communication.
