Job summary

The Saint Cloud VA Medical Center in Saint Cloud, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support residents in the Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program by providing safe physical and emotional care, assisting with daily interventions, observing and reporting changes, and helping Veterans work toward greater self-care in a therapeutic environment.

Basic requirements include United States citizenship, English language proficiency, and meeting one of the following: six months general

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of general experience.
• One year of education above high school with courses related to the NA occupation.
• Completion of an intensive, specialized, occupation-related training course of study or program of less than one year as a NA may also meet in full the experience requirements for GS-3.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe physical and emotional care to residents.
• Assist with daily interventions and activities.
• Observe and report changes to supervisory staff.
• Help Veterans work toward greater self-care in a therapeutic environment.
