Avamere Living (Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC d/b/a Avamere Living) is seeking a Nursing Assistant Registered for day shift in Seattle, WA. Position is full-time with every-other-weekend schedule and wage of $23.50/hour, located at Avamere Queen Anne, 2717 Dexter Ave N, Seattle.

The role involves providing routine daily nursing care under licensed nurses, following residents' assessments and care plans for up to 120 days post-graduation from the Nursing Assistant program.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a Nursing Assistant Program in the state of employment.
• Active CPR/BLS certification during employment.
• Demonstrates passion for caregiving and enhancing residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Check residents routinely to ensure personal care needs are met per wishes.
• Review resident care plans daily to detect changes.
• Inform the nurse supervisor of changes to update the care plan.
• Assist residents with daily needs and transportation to appointments.
• Create and uphold a warm, patient, enthusiastic, calm environment.
• Ensure rooms are ready for receiving and help residents feel comfortable.
• Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
• Communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, DON, or administrator.

Job Summary

The primary responsibility as a Nursing Assistant is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the residents' assessment and care plan under the supervision of licensed nurses for up to 120 days of graduating from the Nursing Assistant program.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

• Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes.
• Review resident care plans daily to determine if changes in the resident's daily care
• routine have been made on the care plan.
• Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in the resident's condition so that
• appropriate information can be entered into the resident's care plan.
• Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activity and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments.
• Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and foster a calm and cheerful environment.
• Ensure residents' rooms are ready for receiving and help residents feel comfortable.
• Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
• Effectively communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and/or administrator

Requirements:

• Graduated from a Nursing Assistant Program in the State this position is in.
• Must maintain and have active CPR/BLS during employment
• Have a passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for our residents(SC1)
