The Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) has recently completed a nursing assistant education program, preparing them to become a certified nursing assistant (CNA). The role involves providing basic care and support under licensed nursing staff to meet residents' needs in a skilled nursing setting.

What you’ll do

  • Apply knowledge from a nursing assistant education program to perform basic nursing skills proficiently.
  • Care for residents by monitoring health, assisting with feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and serving meals and snacks.
  • Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
  • Document resident observations and health information in electronic systems.
  • Communicate observations and health-related information to the care team, including coworkers, supervisors, third-party providers, and families.
  • Learn and adhere to Company, Federal, State, and local rules, regulations, and policies.

What you’ll need

  • Active Nursing Assistant registration with Washington State.
  • Active Nursing Assistant certification in Washington State within 120 days of hire.
  • Washington State Food Worker Card within 14 days of hire.
  • CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English.
