Description

Under direct supervision, this position is accountable to the bedside RN and charge nurse to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family, and providers in the department. The role involves completing delegated duties for the shift and maintaining clear communication between the patient’s needs through the RN and Charge Nurse. Activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard-free, clean environment that facilitates patient-centered care.

Hours: Full Time Day Shift (36 hours weekly)

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training - Medical Terminology course or successful completion of hospital Medical Terminology test within 90 days of hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• 6 months healthcare experience.
