Nursing Assistant Professor/LPN Coordinator

SUNY Niagara is offering a full-time, 10-month tenure-track position for a Nursing Assistant Professor/LPN Coordinator within our Nursing, Physical & Allied Health Division. This role is ideal for a skilled nurse educator passionate about shaping the future of students in our LPN Certificate and RN AAS programs.

Why You’ll Love This Role: As part of SUNY Niagara’s Nursing programs, you will deliver classroom, clinical, and lab instruction on essential Nursing topics, providing students with a comprehensive educational experience. You will oversee our advanced Simulation Lab, setting up and facilitating computer-based patient care scenarios, coordinating student learning experiences, and ensuring lab operations run smoothly. The role also includes student advisement and participation in divisional and college activities. These responsibilities may occur during day, evening, or weekend hours.

This position requires work during the summer months (June, July, August) as the LPN Coordinator, with additional stipends. The base salary will increase with the added responsibilities. Opportunities for salary advancement exist through special assignments and a tenure-track pathway to higher ranks such as Associate Professor and Professor.

Selected candidates may be eligible for a fully paid tuition scholarship to pursue a Master’s of Science in Nursing Education.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and enrollment in a Master’s of Science in Nursing program.
  • Proof of completing all requirements for a Master’s of Science with a major in Nursing within 18 months of starting the position.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Nursing clinical or teaching experience within the last 5 years.
