Job summary

OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in Dublin, OH, is seeking a Nursing Assistant for PRN night shifts. The role includes performing vital signs, assisting with daily care, and transporting patients within the facility. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible hires.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (or relevant experience) and BLS within 90 days. Previous hospital CNA experience is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Preferred: hospital experience as nursing assistant or CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographics.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, hair care).
• Deliver meals and document oral intake; assist feeding as needed.
• Turn and position immobile patients; participate in mobility program.
• Transport patients to treatment centers as required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data


• Assist patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing, oral hygiene, shaving and hair care


• Deliver meals and snacks, feed patients who are unable to feed themselves and document oral intake


• Turn and position immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participate in mobility program


• Transport patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)


• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
