Select Specialty Hospital - Nashville West is a critical illness recovery hospital seeking a Nursing Assistant to support basic patient care on 12-hour PRN/per diem shifts in Nashville, TN. The role centers on compassionate care, daily living activities, and coordination with the care team to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Employees receive a $24.00 per hour base with additional shift differentials for nights and weekends and a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned
