Nursing Assistant - PCU (Days) at UNC Health

The NAI is responsible for administering direct patient care and performing other duties deemed necessary to insure optimal patient care, under the direction and supervision of a professional nurse. The NAI performs duties, such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients or changing linens.
Education Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent.
Professional Experience Requirement: None required.
Licensure/Registration/Certification: Certified by the N. C. Department of Facility Services as a NAI. BCLS Certification.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements: Good interpersonal, communication and observation skills are essential. Understanding of patient care needs according to developmental stages for various age groups.
