Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide I/II to support patients with daily living activities, hygiene, feeding, and ambulation. You will maintain clean patient rooms, observe condition changes, and orient families to the unit with safety guidance.

Education includes a High School diploma or GED, valid Nurse Aide I/II listing, and BLS. Physical requirements include lifting up to 35 pounds and English fluency; EKG and venipuncture training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Nurse Aide I or II listing with the applicable state Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Take vital signs and document findings.
• Feed and ambulate patients as directed.
• Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms.
