Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Nursing Assistant to perform a wide range of clerical duties and direct patient care activities, supporting the multidisciplinary care plan and ensuring timely, high-quality patient care.

You will document patient needs, assist with activities of daily living, transport specimens and patients for tests, manage orders, and help with admissions, transfers, and discharges per unit standards.

Responsibilities

• Document patient needs and changes in condition to licensed personnel.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient hygiene, including changing linens.
• Transport specimens and patients for tests; coordinate tests and transport to labs.
• Process admissions, transfers, discharges, and associated orders per unit standards.
• Provide one-to-one patient safety watch and assist with care plan implementation.
