Qualifications

Location and Shift

North Campus - 4050 W. Memorial Road, OKC, OK 73120

Shift: Full-Time, Nights 7 PM - 7 AM

Responsibilities

The Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Partner (AUA) performs a variety of patient care duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. They actively participate in administering patient care and ensure a safe and comforting environment. Must be able to interact effectively with patients, families, physicians, and all levels of staff. Assist clinical team members by performing various patient care tasks and comfort measures under supervision.

Essential Functions
  • Participate in administering patient care and maintaining a safe, comforting environment
  • Respond promptly to patients' needs
  • Assist patients with ADLs, including meals, bathing, and hygiene
  • Demonstrate ability to perform 12-lead EKG
Qualifications
Nursing Assistant:
  • Education: High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred; completion of CNA, Medical Assistant, PCA, or similar program preferred
  • Licensure/Certification: Current BLS certification required; basic EKG skills within six months
  • Experience: 6 months to 1 year in an acute healthcare setting preferred
Patient Care Partner:
  • Education: High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred; completion of AUA Program
  • Licensure/Certification: Current BLS certification required; AUA Certification with Oklahoma Board of Nursing required
  • Experience: 6 months to 1 year in an acute healthcare setting preferred
