Seeking Nursing Assistant!

Baptist Health Floyd, Observation Unit

Full-time (36 Hours Weekly), Nights (7pm-7am)

Every 3rd Weekend Requirement

Job Duties:

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant who, under general supervision and according to established procedures, functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.

About the Unit:

The Observation Unit is a 32-bed unit affiliated with the Emergency Department that observes patients expected to stay less than 24 hours. The unit cares for various patients including those with chest pain, cardiac arrhythmias, heart catheterizations, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, UTIs, and DVTs. It is staffed with a provider from 7 AM to 5 PM daily to support high-level care.

Qualifications:

• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
