Job summary

UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver direct patient care in the Observation Unit. You will work under the supervision of registered nurses and support the clinical team with basic nursing procedures and patient comfort measures.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, CNA licensure (preferred), and BLS certification, with English proficiency. This position is on-site, with Day shift availability and PRN status for staffing flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Post-high school specialized training preferred.
• Florida CNA license preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Director/Manager and Registered Nurses, the Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures.
