Job Vacancies at Department of Mental Health

There are 2 Vacancies at the Department of Mental Health/Columbia Area Mental Health Center, Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), located at 610 Faison Drive, Columbia, SC, 29203, CAMHC #380 and 388.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Under limited supervision, provides basic care for patients, following policies on meeting patients' basic needs.
  2. Ensures compliance with all SCDMH/CAMHC policies, protocols, Quality Assurance, Corporate Compliance, Cultural Competence, CARF policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations, including all Federal and State laws.
  3. Provides direct services to adults efficiently, maintaining a clean and therapeutic environment by being productively occupied and meeting patient needs.
  4. Delivers client-centered services as outlined in the patient Plan of Care (POC).
  5. Reports patient issues and concerns to the clinical supervisor.
  6. Recognizes the importance of collaboration and teamwork within the Mental Health Center and the community.
  7. Attends all mandatory trainings as classified by Federal and State regulations and Center policy.
State Requirements

A high school diploma or GED is required.
