Responsibilities

The Nurse Assistant in the Med Surg/Telemetry Department is an unlicensed, non-certified assistive person who:

• Assists with activities of daily living
• Provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients
• Assists in maintaining a safe environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred
• Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Minimum six months’ experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred

The estimated total compensation for this role ranges from $16.30 to $22.07, depending on experience and qualifications. The final offer will be determined at the time of hire.
