Job summary

UW Health Beaver Dam is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Hillside Manor. The role includes direct resident care, assistance with ADLs, and mobility support in a long-term care setting.

You will work closely with Registered Nurses and LPNs to provide high-quality care and compassionate service. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and flexible scheduling within 100% FTE, with evening/night shifts and alternating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA upon hire required.
• BLS/CPR certification within 3 months required.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CMA/TMA or WI RN medication administration course upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with repositioning, transfers, mobility and rounding.
• Partner with RNs and LPNs to deliver care.
• Interact with residents, visitors and family to build trust.

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, 40 hours per week, Evening/Night Shift: 2:30pm-10:30pm and 10:30pm-6am, every other weekend and every other holiday rotation.

Pay:

This position may be eligible for a $3000 sign on bonus (pro-rated on the FTE).

Additional components of pay include:

• Weekend differential
• Evening and Night differential

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to our Hillside Manor team to:

• Be a supportive partner with Registered Nurses and LPNs to care for the residents in the nursing home.
• Provide direct physical care and basic nursing procedures and treatments in accordance with policies and procedures. NAs will assist with activities of daily living, repositioning, transfers, patient mobility, and intentional rounding.
• Interact and engage with visitors, residents, and their family members to establish a trusting relationship to provide high quality care.
