Select Specialty Hospital in Battle Creek, MI is hiring a Nursing Assistant for full-time night shifts. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $24.24 per hour, with night/weekend differentials. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

The NA will support post-ICU patients and participate in rounds, patient transport, and bedside care in a supportive inpatient setting. The role includes orientation, RN scholarships, tuition reimbursement, a clinical ladder, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient bathing with basin-less bath products and assist with oral hygiene and feeding.
• Transport patients to and from treatment areas and assist with moving patients in wheelchairs and stretchers.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, bedpans, urinals and equipment.
• Conduct hourly rounds and ensure stock levels of supplies are maintained.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
