Job summary

Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. Training is provided for non-certified applicants; six weeks on-the-job training will prepare you for a full-time day shift with self-scheduling flexibility.

You will perform direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN supervision, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate with the care team to improve throughput and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Applicable experience: Less than 1 year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or obtained on the job.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks.
• Assists with activities of daily living: bathing, hygiene, elimination, feeding, hydration, ambulation, positioning.
• Anticipates family needs and communicates proactively.
• Collaborates with the health care team to enhance patient care.
