Job summary

Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center in Fairlawn, OH is seeking a part-time nursing assistant to support patient care and administrative tasks during night shifts (7 PM–7:30 AM). The role offers 24 hours per week with 2x12-hour shifts, in a setting focused on post-surgical inpatient and orthopedics.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, 3–5 years of patient care experience, strong communication skills, organization, and a BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of patient care experience preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; must be organized and detail oriented and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• License/Certifications: BLS required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care support tasks related to environmental services, dietary needs, transportation, supplies, and light maintenance activities.
• Supports the patient care team by providing direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, as well as administrative and clerical assistance.
• Incorporates hourly rounding into routine patient care; records patient charges accurately and on time as outlined in the procedural manual; and assists team members by answering phones and completing other clerical tasks as needed.
