Nursing Assistant

The Nursing Assistant (CNA) practices and performs basic nursing assistant procedures taught during training and certification. They are expected to practice medical asepsis, respect patient dignity and privacy, maintain objectivity, adhere to safety policies, and work within their scope of training. The CNA works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and receives specific work assignments to complete within their scheduled shift.
