Select Specialty Hospital - Quad Cities in Davenport, IA is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN / Per Diem Night Shift (12-hour shifts). Compensation is $20.00 per hour with night/weekend differentials.

The role includes patient bathing, rounds, and assistance with transport and equipment, within a hospital focused on post-ICU recovery. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and BLS within 90 days; CNA experience or related healthcare work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients and basic care
• Hourly rounds
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with transfers
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments, bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs
• Keep patient rooms clean and stocked
• Support unit stock levels as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
