Job summary

Regency Hospital Company in Middleburg Heights, OH is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN/Per Diem shifts. You will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care in a critical illness recovery environment. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, relevant hospital experience, and be willing to obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Position: Nursing Assistant (NA)

Location: Middleburg Heights, OH

Schedule: PRN/Per Diem, 12-hour shifts, Days & Nights (7am-7pm; 7pm-7am)

Compensation: $22.00/Per Hour + Shift Differentials

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin‑less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
